Oh my gosh, you guys! I just got back from a break and I realized that the queue hasn’t been running! I’m so sorry!
(Also, hello, new followers! I do apologize for the lack of recent content. If you have any quotes you’d like to see, don’t hesitate to message/submit!)
I’ll try to figure out what’s wrong with the queue and hopefully normally scheduled posting will resume soon.
I nodded, looking at Rachel with respect. “You hit the Lord of the Titans in the eye with a blue plastic hairbrush.”
Rachel looked embarrassed. “It was the only thing I had.”

But Thalia held out her spear. “You want some, Seaweed Brain?”
Somehow, it was okay when Annabeth called me that — at least, I’d gotten used to it — but hearing it from Thalia was not cool.
"Bring it on, Pinecone Face!”
The gods arrived a few minutes later in their full war regalia, thundering into the throne room and expecting a battle.
What they found were Annabeth, Grover, and me standing over the body of a broken half-blood, in the dim warm light of the hearth.
"Percy," my father called, awe in his voice. "What … what is this?”
I turned and faced the Olympians.
"We need a shroud," I announced, my voice cracking. "A shroud for the son of Hermes.”

Hi! There are a lot more of you than there were a while ago—thanks so much for following! I haven’t been posting as much as I’d like recently, but I’ve been working on putting together enough graphics to get a queue up and running, so all should be well soon. :)
"You asked Poseidon…for me?"
"For a friend. Young Cyclopes grow up alone on the streets, learn to make things out of scraps, learn to survive."
"But that’s so cruel!"
"Makes us appreciate blessings, not be greedy and mean and fat like Polyphemus. But I got scared. Monsters chased me so much, clawed me sometimes—"
"The scars on your back?"
"Sphinx on Seventy-second Street. Big Bully. I prayed to Daddy for help. Soon the people at Meriwether found me. Met you. Biggest blessing ever. Sorry I said Poseidon was mean. He sent me a brother."
"[My mom’s] funny that way, celebrating special occasions with blue food. I think it’s her way of saying anything is possible. Percy can pass seventh grade. Waffles can be blue. Little miracles like that."
"She gasped and coughed. Her whole body shuddered, but when she looked at me, I knew the spell had broken. She started to sob—I mean, horrible, heartbroken sobbing. She put her head on my shoulder and I held her."
Hello, darlings! I’ve just been logging in to post graphics, and I caught sight of the notifications and I found you! :)
Welcome, and thank you for the follow. I’ll be going through the books in five quote-segments—five quotes from TLT, then five from SoM, all the way through SoN—and then I’ll go back to TLT again. I’ll continue this pattern until I start getting submissions, which I’m really looking forward to.
So if you have any quote you really wanna see (and if you have a graphic layout in mind, don’t hesitate to tell!), just drop me an ask or send me a submission!
Before I could figure out how to apologize for being such an idiot, she tackled me with a hug, then pulled away just as quickly.
"I’m glad you’re not a guinea pig."
"Me, too." I hoped my face wasn’t as red as it felt.
